Mission Statement
The mission of Ix Chel Wellness is to heal our patients, ourselves, each other, and our communities. Our goal is to treat each other and every patient with the respect and care they deserve, no matter their station in life. We focus on providing our patients with the best quality of care either through our services or by referring them to other health care professionals who may be better trained and equipped at addressing their specific needs. We believe our patient's care is of greater importance than a large profit margin, yet we strive to provide fair market prices for our services while maintaining sustainable income for our practitioners. Our long term goal is to open a facility where like-minded healers and health professionals are able to practice in a supportive environment of transparency, consensus, open communication, and fair and equitable treatment of each other and our patients.
Who is Adam Miramon?
Adam Miramon Adam Miramon is a licensed acupuncturist in the State of Maryland and the District of Columbia. He holds his Diplomate of Acupuncture through the National Certification Commision of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Adam graduated with his Master's of Acupuncture from the Tai Sophia Institute and has been an Intuitive Reiki Healer for more than eight years. He is actively involved in "soul work" which is the process of strengthening one's sense of self, discovering hidden energies and talents, and becoming aware of one's strengths, weaknesses, abilities, and limits. Soul work and its reflective process empowers him to hear the ancient voice within, be present and deeply listen to his clients, be guided by spirit, and strengthen his intuitive healing ability. He has offices in Takoma Park, MD and Washington, DC.
